It depends what game it is, for me. I won't cheat on a game like Prince of Persia, because It's a challenge and I want to know that I can do it. Sims, on the other hand... come on, my poor people need the money! So what if the whole neighborhood are millionares?

lol, I usually play through a game the first time on my own...then I cheat, because I want to know if there are things I missed and other endings...one time a favorite character of mine(he was "evil" but there was a slight chance that he could change, based on some of the events in the story)died, and became a zombie...I felt so gyped that I called the company to see if there was a way to redeem him...there wasn't (no alterations in the storyline)
