This is old news, but in case anyone here havent seen it:
The fourth game in the fantastic Ratchet & Clank series has been announced! We still know very little, but I'll continue to update this thread as more information surfaces!
Title: Ratchet: Deadlocked (current)
also seen credited as Ratchet [& Clank 4]: Deadlocked
Release Date: Fall/Winter 2005
Genre: Squad Based Shooter/Action/Platformer
Storyline: Ratchet is immersed into an array of squad based battles and gameplay on a reality game show. Clank is nowhere in sight, and Ratchet has taken on a Master Chief type look, donning slick battle armor and seriously beefing up since the last installment.
Gameplay: "Running, jumping, and shooting with a number of other characters" while competing on a combat-based reality TV show. Focused heavily on combat and weaponry, this installment of the series promises to break all barriers yet again in the platformer genre. Possible vehicular or mechanical combat (see screenshot)
Multiplayer: Squad based gameplay, as well as a multiplayer "campaign"-type story mode has been announced, in addition to online capabilities.
Other Info: Less linear gameplay, customizable firearms, Clank's status is currently unknown.

News:
--The May issue of PSM hints at some new info coming in the near future..."But I have it under good authority that when you flip open next month's issue of PSM, you'll know a whole lot more about what they're [ND and IG] up to. I'm also betting that you'll be very, very surprised by what (and who) the games are about. Very surprised." --pg 18 PSM issue 97 (May '05)
--IGN is supposed to have some more info regarding the gameplay, storyline, and various other aspects of DL in the coming weeks. Keep on the lookout!
--The Magic Box has stated that DL will be completely non-linear, and allow Ratchet to recruit a team of characters to complete missions.

I did one of these threads for UYA such a long while back, I thought maybe other people would like to see links compiled in one place...
